Machinist (Grades 1 - 3)

Job Description

The pay range for this position ranges from $16.45/hr - $18.91/hr.

This is an entry level position (grades 1-3) to work in the Machinist Trade. Applicants may be assigned any M04 Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned basic machine operations including (but not limited to): saws, drills, drill presses, grinders, de-burring etc., or to assist more experienced Machinists operating more complex equipment.

Required/Preferred Education/Training

Preferred - High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred - Technical or Vocational training in machine operations.

Required/Preferred Experience

Required - Experience in basic machine operations and using basic shop tools.
Required - Must be able to read/use basic precision measuring tools.
Required - Must be able to read blue prints.
Required - Must be able to read a tape measure, do basic layout and perform simple math calculations.
Required - Must meet the requirements of the M04 physical task analysis.

This opportunity is located in Bath, Maine. Relocation is provided to all candidates outside of 100 miles who relocate to the area.
