The role is based in Daphne, AL, within a K-12 school environment and involves working with multiple campuses, including an itinerant position serving private schools and a dedicated role at Forest Hill Elementary. Responsibilities: Facilitate and support speech-language pathologists (SLPs) as part of a VOCO program, assisting with student communication needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in grades K-5, helping them access and engage with educational content. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies. Manage caseloads efficiently while adapting to schedules that align with SLPs, offering 20-35 hours per week with flexibility based on candidate availability. Maintain professional documentation and communication with school staff and program coordinators. Qualifications: Previous experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher. Must be a local U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old. Able to provide two professional references. Ready for a pre-screen interview as part of the credentialing process. Willingness to work on-site in a facilitator role supporting speech services. Commitment to compliance with all credentialing and contract requirements.
