Job Description:

The Sound Engineer will have a love of music, ability to work in a fast moving environment and schooling or
previous experience in sound engineering. This requires understanding the basics of a live performance and the
importance of sound quality and control.Job Summary:
--- Sound Engineer position is based in Perdido Key, Florida, and reports directly to the
Production Director for weekly assignments
--- Must have knowledge of analog and digital audio equipment
--- Set-up and break down live performances in a fast-paced environment
--- Perform sound checks and mix live audio
--- Operate lighting and be attentive to each performance
--- Resolve technical issues when they arise
--- Maintain daily equipment checks
--- Meet with performers prior to the show to determine sound needs
--- Work with Production Director and Manager(s) to maintain quality control
--- Show up to work on-time and in a clean, presentable fashion -Essential Qualifications and Experience:
--- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
--- Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn
--- The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is
necessary
--- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs
and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
--- Must be available to work weekends, holidays and black-out event dates
--- Be receptive to exposure to outside elements including heat and/or humidity, cold temperatures, wet
