Job Description:
A company is looking for a Windows Engineer who will be
responsible for systems support and configuration, with a focus on
Windows upgrades within a virtualized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing operating system upgrades, both in-place and
migration-based
Performing upgrades and migrations of Microsoft SQL servers
Troubleshooting and mitigating server performance issues
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a general System Admin/System Engineer
Experience with operating system upgrades, specifically Windows
upgrades
Experience with Microsoft SQL servers upgrades and migrations
Knowledge of file-based migrations with robocopy
Experience with upgrades/migrations of Microsoft Clustered Servers,
including file servers and SQL clusters
