Registered Nurse - Disease ManagementSITE OF SERVICE:Naval Hospital Pensacola, FLFull Time PositionPOSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:Degree: Associates Degree of NursingEducation: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).Certifications: Possess and maintain one (1) of the additional certifications listed below:Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) awarded by the National Asthma Educators Certification Board.Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) awarded by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Education.Experience: Possess two (2) years of full-time broad based registered nurse experience within the preceding five (5) years.Additional requirement: Possess familiarity with Microsoft OfficeAdditional Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.License: Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.U.S. Citizenship: Must be current U.S. CitizenEnglish Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.HOURS:Services shall normally be provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 0630 and 1800.BENEFITS:Medical/Dental/Vision/401KLife Insurance/Disability InsuranceContinuing Medical Education ReimbursementSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLSMust be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
