Job Description:

*Job Title: * Solar Service Manager

*Description: * In this role, the Service Manager will oversee Compass' Service Department and build a high level of trust with both internal and client personnel. Interact with clients to identify their needs, partnering towards solutions that meet schedule, cost, and expectations and requirements. As the leader of our service team, you would be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, hiring and supporting the technicians that report to you with education and direction on challenging jobs, scheduling and/or performing mobile service work and helping to continue to drive service business.

*Responsibilities: *

* Build, develop, and manage a team of Service Specialists and Engineers in the regional area
* Ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the Service members are clearly defined, documented, and followed.
* Assist customers with technical information to help solve problems
* Collaborate with sales personnel to facilitate customer service
* Assist service technicians with parts information

- Manage and lead service personnel, both in the shop and mobile service technicians

- Create and coordinate service schedules and hire new personnel to meet demand

- Load, unload and stock parts in accordance with company's procedure

- Overseeing service office and shop equipment and the maintenance, monitoring, calibration, and repair and training as well as replacement of missing supplies, when necessary.

- Manage day to day operations of the service shop and office

*Requirements: *

* Detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player
* Ability to communicate with customers on the phone and in person
* Developed inter-personal communication skills and has the ability to communicate project activities and schedules
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
* Shows initiative and the ability to consistently follow-through
* Proven project and people leader with exceptional skills in planning, organizing, and history of driving and delivering successful results
* Ability to perform critical analysis of situations and provide recommendations
* Experience with scheduling
* Prior experience as a technician or managerial experience is preferred
* Previous experience with a CRM software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
