The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities is to love and
support families of children with medical needs by giving them a
place to call home. Responsibilities: The role of the Guest
Services Manager is important to RMHC because we envision being
leaders in providing excellent care to families. It is critically
important to have a key employee in place who can maintain a
compassionate and caring atmosphere, as well as serve as a liaison
with volunteers. Additionally, someone who is a positive ambassador
for RMHC and our mission. A Day in the Life of a Guest Services
Manager
- Check families in and out -
- Scheduling occupancy of guest rooms
- Providing meaningful tasks and thanking volunteers
appropriately -
- Helping provide our families with fresh linens -
- Providing a team approach to problem-solving Skills and
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have overnight and weekend
availability throughout the month including Summer and holidays.

- Must have a strong sense of empathy and compassion to help
people feel comfortable
- Ability to be self-directed; Work well independently and as
part of a team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability and eagerness to
learn a new database -
- Ability to interface comfortably and appropriately with diverse
audiences including Families, volunteer,s and donors
- Flexibility, patience, positive attitude, initiative, good
judgment, sense of humor, and empathetic
- Ability to lift 10 pounds
- Assist in any other duties as assigned Schedule - Guest
Services Managers are part-time, hourly employees. Overnights and
weekends. - Report to the Director of Programs Employment Benefits
