enable innovation.The Associate Director, COUPA Technical lead ,
Source to Settle, Business Technology (BT) is responsible for all
aspects of BT in support of Organons Sourcing and Indirect
Procurement function. This role will report to the Director, PtP,
HR and REFMS.The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the
technical stability of the sourcing, contract management,
contingent labor, indirect procurement and invoicing functions
using COUPA platform. He/she will be the primary contributor
defining technical solution strategy, design principles, and
ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical
enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical
skills, experience configuring COUPA and building integrating with
SAP. The candidate will be the point person accountable for
designing and approving solutions, while ensuring compliance to
validation activities in a heavily regulated GxP environment. In
this role, the candidate will have a thorough understanding of
end-to-end source to settle processes, including but not limited to
sourcing, contract life cycle management, risk management, Indirect
purchasing and electronic invoicing. A key function of this role is
the ability to partner successfully with business stakeholders, 3rd
party vendors, system integrators, SaaS vendors and internal team
leads to ensure business processes are enabled to meet business
needs.Primary Responsibilities:Serve as a technical subject matter
expert for the COUPA Procurement platform.Conduct discovery
sessions with representatives from the business partners in order
to build relationships and understand their unique needs.Lead the
solution/enhancement configuration and implementation, to ensure
that solutions are accurately scoped and delivered in line with
business partner expectations.Develop and execute architectural
strategy for design and implementation, create and document
solution designs, and work with other solution delivery leads to
identify options, impacts and recommendations.Design workflows
specific to business process outcomes, and understand how to
develop and integrate a proposed solution with the existing
business and technical teracts with System Integrators (SI), 3rd
party vendors, SaaS partners to identify, evaluate and enable new
technology products for the platform.Provide project management,
business analysis and technical analysis for ERP and non-ERP
applications within Global Procurement domain.Good knowledge and
understanding of overall solution architecture and cloud
integration methods with ECC or S/4 HANA.Develop deep skills and
experience in design, implementation and deployment of COUPA
procurement solution with focus on upstream processes and
downstream processes.Prepare and deliver
demonstrations/presentations in support of fortable working in an
international environment where you have to collaborate with a team
remotely.Work with development, infrastructure, test, and
production support teams to ensure proper implementation and
operability of solutions.Prepare, review and sign-off on
configuration, functional and technical designs.Lead testing effort
in development and quality environments. Guide users in
UAT.Actively communicate and collaborate with the functional leads
across the ERP Program to support the business needs of the
company.Education Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in computer
science, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent
experience is required.COUPA Certified.Required Experience and
Skills:Minimum 3 years experience with COUPA configuration and
technical implementation experience with one or more Finance and
Procurement functional areas (e.g. Source to Procure, Procure to
Order, Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Contracts, ).Proficient
experience with technical integrations between COUPA and SAP
S4/HANA or SAP ECC ERP and Between COUPA and HR systems.Minimum 5
years in application design, development and configuration of
technology solutions to support P2P business processes.At least 7
years'' experience in managing Procurement systemsMust have worked
in multi -country ERP implementation/roll-out experience.Must have
stood up development, testing and production environments,
executing to a cutover plan.Experienced in cross-functional team
workings within a matrixed environment. A project management
mindset is desired.Business analysis and technical analysis, along
with problem solving skills. End-to-end mindset.Technical
documentation, verbal communication, interpersonal, and
presentation skills, with the ability to create and sustain
meaningful relationships.Strong leadership skills, technical
knowledge, and the ability to effectively articulate and
communicate findings and recommendations to the management
team.Preferred Experience and Skills:Hands on experience with
enterprise middleware such as Mulesoft, Boomi,
Informatica.Technical or functional lead on at least 1
full-lifecycle COUPA.Must have the ability to analyze complex
business processes of all kinds, including cross functional and
multi-divisional.Exposure to Pharma/manufacturing industry
