Overview
The Assistant Manager, Enterprise Data & Analytics is responsible for supporting the value realization of cloud analytics capabilities and driving enterprise-wide reporting, analysis, and model development. They play a supporting role to the Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy and programs as they interface with end users in the analytics community across multiple user bases with a strong emphasis on developing value realization utilizing cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities
Lead the support and implementation of democratized efforts backing enterprise analytics capabilities that leverage enterprise data/cloud infrastructure
Assist ED&A leadership in developing, leading, and prioritizing strategic goals and roadmaps Maintain the strategy and roadmap
Collaborate with key stakeholders across delivery and architecture to ensure ED&A strategy and scalable end user focus is maintained as new capabilities are brought to life
Work with development leads/managers to support cross-functional development
Work with leadership across the enterprise to support analytics needs and uncover any obstacles that could slow or prevent analytics adoption
Produce actionable and data driven reports that track key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement for current operations, and project future use
Constantly expand the horizons by finding new and innovative ways to engage team members through a do, learn, grow approach
Evangelize the utilization of cloud capabilities and the "Art of the Possible" across the team and organization
Establish enterprise cross-functional relationships in support of the ED&A team
Assist in setting strategic direction for the ED&A team and ensure alignment across enterprise, divisional, and program-level
Manage day-to-day coordination of activities in accordance with project plans
Review ideas, suggestions, and recommendations for merit and project consideration
Support the communication of the enterprise data strategy to stakeholders and leadership, and articulate business value to internal and external stakeholders
Perform supervisory/managerial duties
Provide suggestions and next steps to team members' work
Establish performance goals and priorities
Prepare, conduct, and review performance appraisals
Develop, mentor, and counsel staff
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Azure Data Studio, Azure DevOps, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Office Products or Operational Data Integration (OLTP), Tableau, and/or other cloud-based analytics technologies
Working knowledge of scripting languages
Proficient in presenting findings and telling compelling stories using data and visualizations/ distilling complex information into clear and concise content
Experience in leading, guiding and coaching technical professional staff
Experience in using analytical techniques, tools, models, and simulations to perform qualitative and qualitative analysis
Experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring others
Experience in leading/overseeing large technical projects/portfolios which have business risk and impact
Experience in demonstrating thought-leadership, initiative-taking, decision-making and creativity solving business problems
Advanced data visualization skills
Effective communication and technical writing skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration or analytics related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Desired Qualification(s)
Knowledge of Navy Federal Credit Union instructions, standards, and procedures
In depth knowledge and experience in Banking/Finance/Investments, familiar with terminology, concepts and business processes and systems
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month.
