Assumes a leadership role in the provision of care for patients receiving services within the unit2. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position3. Supervises the smooth function of the unit including oversight of daily staffing4. Monitor that necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies are available5. Communicates shift/unit issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner6. Facilitates daily huddles within the unit7. Demonstrates the importance of continuing education to the performance of facility8. Maintains work area and equipment in a pristine manner9. Demonstrates the safe operation of equipment and machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation10.
