Details - Department: Freestanding Emergency Department - Schedule: Full Time, Part Time & PRN available, Rotating, On Call required - Hospital: Ascension Sacred Heart - Location: Perdido Key / Pensacola, Fl Opening in Perdido Key, Florida Fall 2025. Due to new site, Vascular Tech experience is necessary. Responsibilities Perform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions. - Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting most effective procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines. - Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results and report results. - Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses. - Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report deficiencies and failures. - Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. - Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. - Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and document sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). - Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - One or more of the following required: - Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Sonography Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: - High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
