Medical Director Geriatric Medicine PACE Program Location: Pensacola, FL Schedule: Monday Friday, Full-Time Start Date: As soon as credentialed Position Overview Seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Medicine Medical Director to lead the medical services for our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This role offers an opportunity to improve quality of life for frail seniors in a community-based setting, providing comprehensive, coordinated care that keeps them safely at home. The Medical Director reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for participant care, clinical outcomes, provider oversight, and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI). Key Responsibilities • Perform history, physicals, and reassessments for new and existing participants • Provide and coordinate medically necessary care across various settings • Participate in intake evaluations and family/team care planning conferences • Supervise and collaborate with PCPs and APPs • Develop medical policies, standards, and protocols • Participate in provider on-call rotation • Support quality initiatives and lead by example across interdisciplinary teams Qualifications • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license Required • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Required ( Board Certification in Geriatrics Preferred) • Active DEA and CDS certifications Required • Minimum 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population Required • Previous supervisory experience Required • Effective skills in chronic disease management and physical assessment • Commitment to mission-driven, collaborative healthcare delivery
