Job Description:
Singing River Hospital functions as a level 3 Trauma Center,

group in GA. MEDS is an independent, democratic/physician owned
group, and services the ED contracts of Singing Rivers Health
System (SRHS), which has been in operations for 50 years.
MEDS/SRHS: 3 hospitals: Gulfport, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula
hospitals Combined volume: 100k ED visits a year Combined IP rate:
12.5% Combined PPH: 2.2 (goal of 2 with increased staffing) Primary
stroke/L3 trauma/STEMI center, SANE exam 24/7, crisis intervention
program Specialties: general surgery, obstetrics/gyn, pediatrics,
psychiatry, cardiology, gastro, ENT, critical care, endocrine,
nephrology, neurology, orthopedics/spine, pulmonology, radiology,
urology EMR: EPIC/dragon Shift length: 8h, 10h, and 12h Staffing
model: combo of doc and APPs. APPs work collaboratively with docs
managing lower acuity patients independently and co-manage moderate
and higher acuity with the docs FT Nocturnist track (with
incentive) Shift equity for holidays, nights, and weekends
