Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized psychological services in a dynamic K-12 school
environment located in Mount Vernon, WA, supporting both elementary
and high school students. This contract role offers the opportunity
to deliver in-person school psychologist coverage during a staff
leave from March 23, 2026, through June 12, 2026. Key
responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations,
actively participating in IEP meetings, and collaborating with
educators and families to support special education services. You
will be assigned primarily to one elementary school and contribute
to services at a high school, managing a caseload of approximately
800 students, with around 18% qualifying for special education.
Qualifications and experience: Valid state-appropriate School
Psychologist credential/licensure Proven experience in both
elementary and high school settings Skilled in conducting
assessments and evaluations Experience contributing to
Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Strong
understanding of special education services and compliance
requirements Work schedule: Full-time, up to 35 hours per week,
Monday through Friday Elementary school hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM
(with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) High school hours: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
