Job Description Job Description Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Location: Panama City, FL Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Schedule & Shift Details Shifts: Mixed 10-hour shifts 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM On-Call: Required Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility Compensation & Incentives Hourly Pay (Based on Experience): $27.72/hr – 5 years $36.30/hr – 10 years $39.60/hr – 15 years Shift Differential: $2.50/hr after 3:00 PM On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Facility Overview A 238-bed acute care hospital serving the Panama City area for more than 40 years is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join its perioperative services team. The facility offers a wide range of advanced surgical, cardiac, women’s, and emergency services and is recognized for its commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Position Summary The PACU Registered Nurse provides immediate post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, independent clinical judgment, and close collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe recovery following procedures.
