Job Description Daily Responsibilities for a Pediatric
Neonatologist: • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate
medical diagnostic and treatment skills. • Adheres, contributes,
and develops clinical patient pathways to ensure a standardized
approach to neonatal medicine. • Recommends, participates in, and
works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost
effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. • Act as
attending consulting physician for patients who require
hospitalization, depending on needs of patients, medical staff, and
hospital. • Providers will be the primary educator for the
pediatric residents. • Provides appropriate documentation that
meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a
timely manner. • Participates in inpatient rounds and provide
appropriate hand-off to the next team. Benefits include: student
