Job Description Medical Director – PM&R (Physiatry) Location: Pensacola, Florida Setting: Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) Quick Screening Checklist Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Licensure: Florida medical license required (active or eligible) Availability / Work Structure: Inpatient Rehab Facility Skilled Nursing Facilities coverage Medical Director role available Shared call: 1:4 (IRF only) No call for SNF coverage Schedule & Patient Volume Inpatient Rehab Facility: Average: 18–20 patients per day Call: Shared call rotation: 1:4 Applies to IRF only Team Structure: 4 physicians in the local market Practice Environment Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Skilled Nursing Facility coverage included Group operates with a structured compliance program Documentation and coding supported through MD Coder app (assists with charge entry and billing codes) Compensation & Employment Employment Type: Most physicians hired as W2 employees Part-time roles may be 1099 Base Salary: Staff Physicians: $180,000 guaranteed Medical Directors: $200,000 guaranteed Productivity Bonus: After reaching bonus threshold: 70% of billings Typical Total Earnings: Average: $230,000 – $425,000 with production bonus Benefits (for W2 physicians) Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Organization Overview Nationwide physiatry group 100 physicians employed nationwide RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
