How you’ll make an impact in this role - Prepare the surgical environment by meticulously organizing sterile drapes, solutions, and instrumentation to ensure the operating suite is mission-ready for every procedure. - Support surgical flow by anticipating the needs of the surgeon and providing the required instruments and supplies with speed and precision throughout the operation. - Lead patient positioning and safety by collaborating with the surgical team to prepare, transport, and drape patients, ensuring their physical protection and clinical readiness. - Guarantee procedural accuracy by maintaining a highly organized sterile field and conducting rigorous, proactive counts of all instruments and supplies to ensure patient safety. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. What additional preferences we're seeking - Previous Surgical Technologist experience.
