Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
2+ years of experience as an RN in a PICU/ICU/ED/Peds setting
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work
with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending,
reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or
equipment up to 50 pounds.

The Assistant Nurse Manager assesses the needs of the patient
population and plans, implements, and evaluates assignments to

Assumes leadership and management of licensed and non-licensed
staff in the absence of nurse manager. Demonstrates a positive,

Manages staffing based on volume and needs of department. Assists
with the evaluation of staff, developing performance improvement

Is able to speak clearly of core measures, department specific
policies and goals, and educational requirements of staff.
Participates with department audits, chart reviews, special
