Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a day shift in Alabama requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital setting on the 4th floor Medical-Surgical unit - Patient population includes a broad range of adult medical and surgical cases - Shift schedule is 7:00 am to 7:00 pm - 13-week assignment duration - No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility - Candidates must provide a valid driver’s license upon consideration - First time travelers will be considered - Gaps in recent work history may disqualify candidates - Assignment is subject to standard hospital orientation and onboarding procedures /n /n Requirements/n - Active AL or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience required - No lapses in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months - No previous permanent employment at any CHS facility within the last 2 years - No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment - RTO requests must be fewer than 7 days /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-659100.
