experienced Recruiter. The Recruiter role offers the opportunity to

best talent.Position Description I. Position: Human Resources
RecruiterII. Position Summary:Responsible for meeting hiring goals
by sourcing, scheduling, and selection of candidates with
recruitment activities consistent with all legal and regulatory
requirements. Coordinate with managers, employees, applicants and
third parties to ensure vacant Covenant positions are filled
promptly, correctly and efficiently with the best-qualified and
available applicants.III. Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited program in the area of
Business, Personnel Management or related field, or a combination
of training and experience
- Three years' experience in Human Resources or related field
required, with a focus on recruitment
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point. Able to analyze
and interpret data and translate into useful management
information.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills including analytical,
verbal and written communications skills; be detail oriented and
interact professionally and confidentially in all matters related
to Covenant.
- Preferred Healthcare Recruitment Training with Certification,
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR Professional in Human
ResourcesIV. Job Relations: Reports to: Director, Human Resources
V. Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops recruitment strategies
to achieve required staffing levels. Perform recruitment activities
to promptly fill vacant positions with the best-qualified and
available applicants. Monitor effectiveness of various advertising
media to insure adequate applicant pool availability and effective
utilization of Covenant financial resources. Build applicant
sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges,
employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites,
providing organization information, opportunities and benefits.
Making presentations, maintaining rapport.Screen and contact, as
appropriate, applicants within 24 hours of application to determine
appropriateness of applicant for and to identify whether applicant
is a good fit for available open positions. Improves organization
attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices;
monitoring job offers and compensation practices. Develops and
conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving
recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.Updates
job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities,
reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks,
participating in professional organizations.Review monthly metric
statistics and identify trends and participate in initiatives
designed to reduce turnover and increase staff retention.Process
and maintain all Agency Staff files. Monitor use of outside Agency
Staffing use. Interface with clinical managers to insure efficient
use of temporary agency staff and suggest improvements as needed.
Interface with staffing agencies to insure correct forms and
training documentation are on file for all agencies' staff.Function
as effective team player by assisting with other human resources
duties, as needed. Perform all other related duties as directed by
the Director of Human Resources.Promote positive image of the
Covenant concept and promote harmony among staff members. t. Be
proficient with computers, Windows, Microsoft Office Word, Excel
and Power Point with working knowledge/experience with an online
HRIS recruiting system.Required to comply with all Covenant
Policies, Procedures and Personnel Policies, including those
specifically addressing disaster preparedness and response.VI.
Special Demands/Physical Requirements:This position may sometimes
require light/medium lifting. Normally such lifting will involve,
but not be limited to, the lifting of various office supplies and
small equipment items. Position may involve long periods of sitting
and/or standing and depending on assignment, may require some
travel to branch offices (within 3 hour drive by private
automobile) to provide Human Resources support.
