seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Employment Attorney to
join our thriving legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a
talented professional to contribute to our company's legal
department with their knowledge and expertise in Employment & Labor
Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing
legal advice to our organization on a broad range of employment law
issues. This role involves managing litigation, negotiating with
opposing attorneys, preparing reports for senior management, and
providing training to the company on employment law matters.
Responsibilities:1. Provide expert legal support and advice to our
organization on a wide range of employment law issues, including
but not limited to, employee relations, disciplinary procedures,
and redundancy processes.2. Manage all aspects of employment
litigation including drafting responses to claims, negotiating
settlements, and representing the company at hearings.3. Develop
and implement employment policies and procedures that comply with
current legislation and best practice.4. Conduct legal research and
analysis on various complex employment law issues and provide
practical legal advice that takes into account the operational
realities and needs of the business.5. Prepare detailed reports for
senior management on ongoing cases and legal risks facing the
company.6. Provide training to HR and management on employment law
matters to ensure compliance with legal requirements.7. Participate
in the negotiation and drafting of employment contracts and
agreements.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited
law school is required.2. Must have a license to practice law in
the state.3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing
employment law, with a strong preference for candidates who have
experience in both advisory and litigation roles.4. In-depth
knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including but not
limited to, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.5. Strong litigation
experience with the ability to manage all aspects of employment
litigation from inception through resolution.6. Excellent
negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully
resolving disputes.7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
with the ability to apply legal principles to complex factual
situations.8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and
understandable manner.9. Ability to work independently and as part
of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet
deadlines.10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.This
