Title: Software Integration EngineerDescriptionSolutions - -is supporting our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer on a large mission-critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment; including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Solutions - is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Integration Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of a new DevOps infrastructure and advanced cybersecurity capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating software components into a larger system and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The software integration engineer will be responsible for integrating software components, testing, and deploying software systems.Eligibility:Must be a -US CitizenMust have an active/current Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Must be able to obtain -DHS Suitability -prior to starting employment. -8+ years of professional networking experienceResponsibilities:Collaborate with software development teams to integrate software components into a larger system.Develop and execute integration test plans to ensure software components work together seamlessly.Troubleshoot and debug issues in software systems.Deploy and maintain software systems in production environments.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.Required Skills:Proven work experience as a software integration engineer.Strong experience with software integration technologies and methodologies.Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.Experience with deployment and maintenance of software systems in production environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Desired Skills:Experience specifically with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.Experience using network monitoring and automation tools for troubleshooting and task simplification.Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques. Experience troubleshooting and implementing VPN technologies. Experience implementing firewall-based policies using Juniper firewalls. -Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. -Equivalency: Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
