Description Requisition #:-- SYSTE02806 Job Title:--Systems Architect III Clearance Level:--Interim Secret **Selected applicants--may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ** SUMMARY: Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting Navy Training? You'll help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical computer network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve training for the next generation of warfighter. DUTIES:

  • Design & develop centralized data repository solutions to store, share, and catalog learning content data for use in training the next generation of Navy Sailors in a secure modernized computer environment
  • Monitoring & performance management
  • Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical computer network
  • Analyze & communicate metrics to team members Qualifications
    Education and Certifications:
    • HS diploma or GED Background Needed and Years of Experience:
      • Ability to obtain a security clearance (minimum Interim Secret Clearance) Additional Skills & Qualifications
        Must Have Technical Skills:
        • Object-oriented software programming experience
        • Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) experience
        • Programming experience
        • Strong technical skills such as familiarity and conversion of common data formats and file types
        • Utilize standardized Learning Management System (LMS) operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation to ensure LMS governance model is being followed Preferred Technical Skills:
          • Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems, including Navy POR systems
          • BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
          • Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification for a designated Operating System or an ability to obtain the cert within 6 months of hire. Non-Technical Skills:
            • The ability to learn quickly and to read, comprehend, and precisely follow technical materials such as user guides and other documentation
            • A learn-while-doing attitude; good problem-solving skills; and the ability to remember and put to use both important details and big-picture thinking WORKING CONDITIONS: Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Strength Demands: Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Physical Requirements:
