Job Description:
A financial services firm needs applicants for an opening for a
Remote Linux Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Maintaining & managing stakeholder communications
Monitoring and alerting are maintained and has good infrastructure
and broader usage
Ensuring regular stakeholder engagements on requests are
occurring
Required Skills:
3+ years' experience installing, operating and recovering Linux
operating systems
Ability to create and run a Linux system management practice
Experience in managing and supporting Linux based application
servers
Proficiency with shell scripting and/or PHP
Ability to work with both technical and those with limited
understanding of technical concepts
Understanding of ITIL processes and functions
