Job Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of incoming resins products.
  • Review technical documentation and finished goods batch records to support complaints and Non-Conformance investigations or batch release
  • Review records and documents for completeness and compliance with company policies
  • Review material certifications against specifications to ensure compliance to specifications and procedures
  • Writes technical reports and revises SOPs as needed.
  • Enters Quality test records in databases
  • Perform SAP transactions for inspected materials.
  • Coordination of equipment calibration and PM of Microbiology and Analytical Laboratories
  • Maintain Inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Management of assets turnaround time with 3rd party calibration and PM service providers
  • Extracts, tabulates, and analyzes data from SmartSolve Reports and other databases to support Quality KPI and SPC Analysis.
  • Update daily management charts
  • Maintain SharePoint Libraries for Non-Conformances, Complaints, Laboratory Equipment and Testing Data.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to QA Manager and Senior Quality Engineer
  • Update Quality Boards information for NC's Complaints and CAPAS
  • Perform initiation verification for new Non-conformances
  • Perform NC closure for non-conformances
  • Manage customer complaint sample intake, sign off on receipt of samples, and manage inventory
  • Manage internal audit schedule and follow-up with auditors to complete audits on time
  • Retain/record requests for customer complaint investigations
  • Batch review to support complaint / NC investigations
  • Repeat release testing on retains returned samples to support investigations
  • Requests for quotes and purchase requisitions for outside testing to support investigations

    Minimum Qualifications
    • BS in Biology, Chemistry or Engineering with 1 year experience /or AA degree in related field with at least two years relevant lab/industry experience
    • Candidate must be details oriented, have strong organizational skills and be familiar with engineering principles and concepts.
    • Candidate must be proactive, results-oriented, self-motivated and willing to be part of a larger team working in collaboration with a group engineers and scientists.
    • Good written and oral English communication skills
    • Solid experience with Excel and SharePoint is required.
    • Able to accurately collect data, and perform analysis of data
    • Able to present and interpret data in graphical format
    • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal/written procedures and instructions
    • Effectively work with individuals across various organizational levels and departments
    • Able to work flexible shifts and hours, including overtime as necessary
    • The ability to maintain clean working environment and perform daily tasks in an organized fashion
    • Ability to prioritize and manage time to ensure tasks are completed on schedule

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Hands on Experience working with databases, ERP and QMS software.
      • Ability to recognize and troubleshoot abnormal test results
      • Ability to work on several simultaneous assignments while maintaining proper attention to detail
