Places to Work in ITBasic PurposeTo support Navy Federal's IT
governance processes, including, but not limited to, its
Architecture Review Board, Design Review Board, other specific
domain review boards, integrations with non-IT reviews, Enterprise
standards and other various governance processes. Facilitate the
governance process, which may involve vetting and helping create
proposals for new technology, creating and reviewing presentation
decks, capturing and tracking metadata around
pending/approved/denied requests, and scheduling. Work with
requestors, Enterprise Architects and other division employees to
verify that requestors have completed basic preparation and due
diligence and met all required governance
prerequisites.Responsibilities--- Help facilitate various Navy
Federal's governance intake processes, including vetting proposed
presentations, capturing data regarding proposals, and
scheduling--- Work with requestors and Enterprise Architecture team
members to verify solutions have completed prerequisites and
requirements prior to scheduling reviews--- Validate adherence to
architectural reference patterns--- Provide review and input into
enterprise architecture standards and architectural reference
patterns--- Provide oversite to domain specific governance boards
or domain specific reviews--- Provide input to the maturation and
improvement of IT governance as a whole--- Present and educate
employees information about existing governance processes and
upcoming changes--- Assist projects and efforts through the various
governance processes at Navy Federal--- Prepare meeting
notifications, invitation lists, meeting agendas and outcome
artifacts--- Understand Enterprise technology standards and how
they apply to incoming review requests, providing feedback to
requestors--- Provide forward-thinking technical expertise and
thought leadership in current and emerging technologies,
development practices, market trends and best practices---
Document, manage, and follow up on critical action items as a
result of the ARB meetings and associated
decisionsQualifications--- Bachelor's degree in Information
Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience--- Experience
serving in the role of an IT and/or Business Architect supporting
various functional and technical domains across medium to
large-scale enterprises to achieve strategic and organizational
goals--- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures---
Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) v.9
or relevant architecture framework--- Experience in utilizing
various development and operations framework methodologies
including Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Information
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)--- Experience in
communicating technical concepts and practices effectively at all
levels, including non-technical audiences, adjusting as needed to a
target audience--- Experience in translating business needs and
requirements into comprehensive, useful, and clear architecture
designs (e.g., logical architecture, system interaction, etc.) and
artifacts--- Experience in developing business and/or technical
architecture diagrams--- Experience in facilitating review and
validation of architecture designs by technical and non-technical
audiences--- Experience in interpreting and translating
architecture designs into IT solutions to achieve specific business
outcomes--- Experience in performing various forms of analysis
including systems analysis, business process analysis and/or
Architectures Fit/Gap analysis--- Exposure to managing multiple
priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve
goals--- Effective skill using analytical and problem-solving
skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges and
identify patterns of software quality and reusability--- Effective
skill using creative and innovative thinking to create original
concepts and approaches for various projects and stakeholders---

RemoteNavy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise
requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days

process.Salary Range: $109,900 - $206,800 annuallyNavy Federal
Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that
enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary
range, based on your experience, location and market position.
