We are actively searching for a highly enthusiastic Technical
Support Analyst to become a valuable member of our team. The
Technical Support Analyst will play a crucial role in providing
technical assistance to our internal team members. This role is
primarily focused on addressing inquiries and resolving
computer-related issues for our team members, whether it's
in-person, over the phone, or via electronic communication
channels. In addition to troubleshooting, the individual in this
position will provide valuable guidance on a wide range of computer
hardware and software matters, including printing, software
installation, word processing, email, and operating systems.
All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the
ActiGraph core values, standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of computer system performance to ensure
smooth operation.
- Facilitating inter-departmental communication, bridging the IT
department with all other Actigraph departments.
- Offering technical assistance for software maintenance and
usage.
- Conducting rigorous performance testing of software
applications.
- Proficiently installing computer software.
- Managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Administering the company's cell phone plan and overseeing
employees' mobile devices.
- Procuring essential equipment vital for Actigraph's operational
efficiency, including computers, network devices, and other
miscellaneous IT equipment.
- Sustaining computer networks for optimized performance and user
accessibility.
- Implementing robust security measures for computer and
information systems.
- Establishing electronic data backup protocols to prevent data
loss.
- Resolving issues related to computer networks and
software.
- Overseeing day-to-day computer system performance.
- Utilizing appropriate tools to analyze and resolve business or
technical problems.
- Addressing user inquiries regarding computer software or
hardware, troubleshooting problems.
- Executing commands and monitoring system operations to ensure
accuracy and identify errors.
- Configuring equipment for employee use, ensuring the proper
installation of cables, operating systems, and required
software.
- Installing and conducting minor repairs on hardware, software,
and peripheral equipment, following design or installation
guidelines.
- Promptly responding to office IT needs, which encompass
assistance with printers, telephones, internet connectivity, and
workstation issues.
- Maintaining a comprehensive inventory of Actigraph's electronic
assets.
- Analyzing information and evaluating outcomes to determine the
most effective solutions and resolve issues.
- Safeguarding the security system to protect sensitive
data.
- Regularly monitoring local backups of servers and the file
server.
- Managing Cloud backups of local servers and the file server to
ensure data integrity Requirements
- Educational Requirement: High school diploma or GED
mandatory.
- Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor's/Associate's in
related field preferred, or 3+ years of relevant work
experience.
- Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and data analysis
abilities.
- Proficient in IT tools, ITSM, and helpdesk systems.
- Hardware/Software Support: Experienced in supporting desktops,
laptops, printers, phones, and various OS. Profound Office 365
knowledge required.
- Server Knowledge: Familiar with Windows Server OS.
- Active Directory/DNS: Highly desired for system management and
troubleshooting.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
advantageous.
- VoIP Experience: VOIP phone deployment and support is a plus.
